Bounheuang Ninchaleune holds a PhD Degree in socio-economic and environmental science from University of Putra Malaysia. He graduated a BSc and MSc in Forestry Science from Technology University Dresden (Germany). Currently, he is working as Vice President for Academic Affairs of Savannakhet University. In 2009 he worked as a Lecturer for EIA and Forest Soil Science at Faculty of Forestry, National University of Laos. In 2001 he worked as a Consultant for Road Improvement ADB Project for the Environmental Impact Assessment for 3 months in Xieng Khouang Province in Lao PDR. In 2000 he worked as a Consultant for the Community Managed Irrigation Sector Project on the fruit tree, timber planting and Sloping Agriculture Land Technology (SALT) establishment in the 4 Provinces and 1 Special Zone, Laos. In 1999 he carried out of Socio-Economic Survey in concessionaire areas in Vientiane and Xayaboury Provinces, Laos. In 1999 he conducted a research for FAO Project a case study titled “Forest Harvesting Impact on the Training and Model Forest Sang Thong District, Vientiane Municipality, Laos.

Somphong Chanthavong holds a PhD. degree in in Environmental Science and Management from University of the Philippines, Los Banos, the Philippines. He obtained a MSc. in Natural Resources Conservation from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand and a BSc. in Forestry Engineering from University of Agriculture in Brno, former Czechoslovakia Socialistic Republic. Dr. Somphong is working as Acting Dean of Faculty of Agriculture and Environment at Savannakhet University, Laos. He is also country representative of the Laos to SEAMEO SEARCA Governing Board. Currently, he has four papers published at international institutions such as Institute for Global Environment Strategies (p44-54, 2004); Environment Asia (Vol. 12, Issue 2, 2019, p116-125; and Vol. 10, Issue 1, 2017, p52-62) and International Journal of Conservation Science (Vol.10, Issue 2, 2019, p 393-402). Regarding to Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), he had an opportunity to participate in International Training Program (ITP-SEA, 2017B) funded by Swedish International Development Coop. Agency (SIDA). His main interest is interdisciplinary research related to natural and environmental protection.

Bounyore Koulavong holds an MSc degree in Social Forestry and Forest Governance, awarded by the University of the Philippines Los Baňos, Philippines and BSc in Forest Resources, awarded by Souphanouvong University, Laos. His fields of special competence are social forestry, community forest, forest governance, forest management, community development, and ecotourism. His extensive experience in teaching includes: Forest Inventory, Wildlife conservation, Community forest, Logging, Ecotourism, Natural tourism management, and Pest and Forest diseases.

Lanta Ketoukham holds a Master degree in Education from International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan, Bachelor degree of Education in Teaching English from the National University of Laos, and Diploma of Conservation and Land Management from Swinburn University of Technology in Australia. She extensive experience and various training projects such, Comparative and international Education Society (CIES) 2018 in Mexico City, the Online Professional English Network by U.S Department State, flora and fauna in Australia, Ecosystem service in Finland, and related Forestry with German, Czech, and Finish University. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in Research curriculum Development and Instruction in Thailand.

Inta Chanthavong holds a MSc. degree in Resources Development and Agricultural Extension, awarded by the Maejo University, Thailand and a BSc degree in rural economy, awarded by the National University of Laos. Mr. Inta is working a Head of Administration and General Division, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, Savannakhet University, Lao PDR. He has 10 years research experiences in rural governance and policy development related issues in Laos. He mainly teaches project planning and management, rural economy, rural development and other related subjects. Inta have one paper published at Agricultural Research and Extension Journal; Volume 36; Issue 2. He also participated in international conferences such as “Linkages and Cooperation in Agricultural Production and Marketing in the Context of International Economic Integration” at Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Vietnam. Challenges of Sustainable Development and Social Impact on Cooperatives and Social Enterprises at Kasetsart University, Thailand. Environment, Livelihood and Services (ICELS 2018) at Kasetsart University, Thailand. And International Symposium on Sustainable Development and Internationalization of Higher Education at Savannakhet University, Lao PDR.
