The capacity building visit of two Lao and two Thai partners at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZUP) focused on various activities aimed at enhancing their educational and presentation skills in the university environment. The agenda for the visit was as follows:

May 9, 2023: Welcome Speech and Presentation of Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences (FFWS) of CZUP, program organizational note, and summary of activities at the University of Helsinki.

May 10, 2023: Visit to Ornamental Nurseries (Jevany) and the Truba Research Station of CZUP to learn about nursery techniques.

May 11, 2023: Lecture on Forestry in Czech Republic and the use of FieldMap as an effective tool in silviculture research at CZUP.

May 12, 2023: Visit to a pulpmill and sawmill operated by Mondi.

May 15, 2023: Welcome, Introduction, Tour of IEC CZU Prague Campus, and Interactive Lecture on Didactic and Presentation Skills at the university environment on The Art of Effective Communication and Presentation.

May 16, 2023: Interactive Lecture on Didactic and Presentation Skills at the University Environment (Pedagogy and Didactics in Higher Education).

May 17, 2023: Interactive Lecture on Didactic and Presentation Skills at the University Environment (Evaluation in the University Environment: Experience and Examples) and Videotraining of Didactic and Presentation Skills for Academics.

May 19, 2023: Lessons Learned from the Educational Activity, Awarding of Certificates for Active Participation in the Project, Overall Conclusion, and Closure of the Project Activities.
Throughout the visit, academic staff from Thai Universities (Chiang Mai and Kasetsart Universities) and Lao Universities (Savannakhet and Souphanouvong Universities) participated in these capacity building activities to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of education and communication at the university level.
